Thanksgiving day started when Pooker came over after a 36 hour EMT shift. This girl worked her behind off so that she could be with us on the Holiday. I wanted us to take that time for family pictures in the middle of the day but when the kids said that wouldn't happen I threw a fit. We all started yelling but eventually respect for each other returned. After my temper tantrum the day was was perfect. The kids even promised to be ready for pictures the next day.
Adorable was thrilled that Goobers brought over her favorite game for her to play with.
Thanksgiving day always starts with the parades.
In this family everyone contributes. Jumba and I got stuck peeling the potatoes, at least the twins were there to help out.
Everyone is waiting for the yummy food.
These two worked too hard and could not wait for dinner.
The food was all yummy. Each person doing their job and doing it well!
So many kids mean so many things to be thankful for!
My first cousin Bill came to visit for the day with his wife, her father and their daughter Lizzie. She and Pooker are just six months apart.
Lizzie just finished her training and will board a Disney Cruise ship tomorrow for her new job. She will spend six months acting and singing and entertaining. She has an amazing voice. We felt so honored that she spent her last day of freedom playing with us!
These cousins have not been together in a while but they are still buddies.
So much love in this family.
I am most thankful for this bunch of young people. Each one is special in their own way.
Oh we are all thankful for more pie!
