Divine Mercy Sunday - Full of Graces

Divine Mercy Sunday was so special this year.  Not just for my family but for the entire world.  We now get to refer to John Paul II as Blessed, I recorded my thoughts on how special he is here.  This day in our church was one that he declared years before as a special day.  The Sunday after Easter was picked to be one in which many graces from heaven fell upon earth.  We got to see that first hand this year as so many of our loved ones were wrapped up in special sacraments.

I know that my friend Linda was watching from heaven today.  It was bitter sweet for us knowing how much she would have wanted to be there in person cheering on her little Troy-Man as he made his First Holy Communion.  I am so poud of this young man.  He recieved with a pure joy in his heart.  I know that his mother was smiling from her heavenly home.  Before she died we talked about this day.  I don't think that God would ever keep a mom from such a special day.

We cried a little for Linda today but rejoiced for Troy Man.  He is so big and so strong.  He met our Lord today in the Eucharist in the same blessed manor that hi mother met our Lord in death.

This day was filled with so much.  Our niece in St. Louis, Miss Em, made her first Holy Communion that morning.  I hear that she was beautiful.  I so wish we could have been there with her.

Then came the evening Mass when Bear and Sugar were Confirmed.  This was an exciting day to say the least.  At this Mass our dear B-family friends from the neighborhood also had two boys being Confirmed at the same Mass.

Yep that is our crowd after the Confrimation.  Taby-Kat and Fr. Tom hanging with my oldest four and Cardnial Dinardo.

Nanney and Gramps came to celbrate our big day with us.  It was a wonderful day.  We will post the Confimation pictures seperatly.  Congrats to all those involved in these special things today.
