Sending Goobers Home

The hardest part of having our kiddos visit is the part where we send them home.  We love you Goobers, why don't you just move here.

First Show At Nanny's House

In time for my first show a stand has arrived.  I can't wait to use it!

My first show will be at Nannie and Gramp's house. Nannie is hosting an event that will include several different vendors and her boutique.  

I am all set up.

In the end this was a fun event. I sold a little product.  Made some new friends, and saw lots of old familiar faces that I had nt seen since we left for Houston 16 plus years ago.

Cedar Lake Cellars

With weddings on my mind, Miss Brenda and I headed to a local winery for the fun afternoon out seeing the area.  We went to Cedar Lake Cellars! The property was a winery that had been purchased by a man that used to run a very popular restaurant. The property has been transformed into several venues for weddings, showers, and all kinds of receptions. It is a beautiful place. Many things that I hope to  some day have on our for ever property without having the retail aspect to it.  We enjoyed some yummy drinks and the scenery and the time to chat.  Good for the Soul!

Off To A Wedding

We are so excited that Goobers had to come back into town for a short visit.  She had a friend's wedding to go to.  Sugar was going as well.

Bagel helped Goobers to do her nails and they looked fabulous.  I just love Color Street.  Simple, yet gorgeous.

Goobers and Sugar were headed out and they looked wonderful!  They would be representing the family, as we were all praying for the bride and groom.

Another Practice and Some New Uniforms

I just adore these two. They are so big to be now.  Playing soccer and looking older.  I love it.

Homeschool Begins As We All Do Our Schoolwork

I won't make us start without a little fun.  I bought home the best donuts around to kick off our day in the right way.  (At least yelling that I have donuts will help ge them out of bed, lol.)

Labor Day Adventures

Sugar's birthday was on the first. Sugar took Jumba with her to school and too celebrate.  On a social level I believe that Jumba is ready for college all ready!
