Time with Big Girls

Goobers texted that she was heading to confession.  I felt like I needed to go.  No now would ride with me.  After waiting and waiting Father left to say Mass.  Goobers and Pooker both joined me for Mass (or I joined them.)  We then got back in line.  If always feels so good to get to confession and to hear the priest say, "You are absolved!"

We celebrated two sacraments with a little Torchy's Tacos.  I loved that I was able to spend time with my two oldest kiddos.  I am one blessed mom.

Non-Matching Identical Twins

So it has happened. I feel blessed that I had almost 6 years of dressing the twins like twins. Even when they took over dressing themselves they continued to dress alike. It has now been almost a full week of independent dress. The funny thing is they try still choose to be alike, they wear the same clothes but on different days, they pick out their outfits together. I suspect it is just a new phase.

Sibling Time

 

Here they are making the most of the weeks that they have left.  They surprised Pooker with some Coffee time.

Alert the Tooth Fairy

 Twin Beautiful lost the other bottom tooth.  She wasn't happy.  It scared her for some reason. She camped down and we all realized that Twin Adorable had lost her tooth before giving it to the tooth fairy.  We laughed about that until Twin Beautiful lost this one too.  They are truly twins.

 They wrote notes, prayed that the tooth fairy would forgive them and still give them a reward  Then on to preparing their babies for the move.

 Tooth fairy came through!  Yeah!

Big Girls Hosted Some Sibling Time

The kids needed to leave the house more than once this past weekend for showings and open house.  Pooker and Goobers let the kids join them at their apartment to unload a tad.  The stress was getting to us all.  

Pooker, 

"My cleaning up the apartment after having the gang over for the weekend was a little different this time. I always love having them come and the mess is just something that comes with having that many people crash your place. I will miss it was my thought this time though. I will actually hate not having a mountain of dishes and a pile of blankets to fold and pack away after they leave from a fun sleep over.
Mom and dad are taking their talents elsewhere. It hurts my heart for sure, but mom hasn’t been happy in Houston for a long time* and with dad’s new job comes a new territory and it’s time to head that way. They sold on their house this weekend and will officially be moved the end of June. Get your T time in soon and then be prepared to love on Goobers and Pooker for a while. 😉 Goobers and I will be staying in the Conroe/ Woodlands area until the lease is up next year. After that, we’ll see what our options are. Mom and dad will hopefully end up closer to Bear and we can all meet in the middle.  💙Congratulations to my parents and the family for working so hard and making the right decisions to do what they needed to do to get it sold. Keep them in your prayers for guidance on the right path as to where they should live and for our hearts as we all learn to embrace a big change and find a new norm."
