Sometimes School Just looks like This

So the twins sat down to do some workbooks.  Nothing major but simple work so that we could have them accomplish something and feel like they were doing school work.  It always kills me that the counter doesn't look the same when we finish any type of school  MESS follows students all over!  Trash, crayons, pencils are all left behind to PROVE that the student had been there.

My Little Pony Movie Excitement

While some of us were in Waco watching football some were back home sneaking out for a late night movie adventure.  Let's just say that fun was had by all!

The boys went to this one on a team bus.  WE got there just in time for the game to begin.

A night like this is known as Friday Night Lights.  The field is lit up.  The stands are all cheering no matter what team you are there for.

We love so much about this team.  I am so proud of Pickle.

We lost but it was a fun evening.  Go Pickle!  Go LIONS!

Confirmation Class Begins for Princess

And so it begins.  The intense year of preparation for the second year students in getting ready for Confirmation.  The work actually began at her baptism but the official year of study is upon her.  She will do great with these other 280 plus kids.  Pray for them and pray for their teachers.

We are all preparing for April 8th.  God bless these students!  Come Holy Spirit.

Big families have a skill at taking an ordinary outing and turning it into an epic adventure or contest.

What started out as a simple evening dinner after Sunday night Mass ended in an obsession with who could "win" the most prizes using the claw.

LifeTeen Retreat 2017

I was in trouble to grabbing that quick shot.  

Princess:  

"I have been on many retreats before.  We don't need pictures."

In my opinion we always need pictures so I kept taking them.

Sugar and Possible went to help while Kat and her brother Troy joined them this year

While everyone was having fun here or at the football game, Possible ha extreme back pain so Goobers brought her home.  Poor thing she must have pulled a muscle.  

Princess and Sugar continued to have fun, I mean pray hard at the retreat.  Well probably both!
