Opening Day

Pooker and Dad are huge baseball fans.  You can't make other plans on opening day.  Even though we were born in St. Louis we are NOT Cardinal fans.  For some unknown reason J is a huge Cub fan.  No one can explain it and his family tried to cure him for years.  When we married I decided that it would be best to just join in much to the dismay of my own family.

Not having cable anymore had my family a little worried about how they would ever see any of the games this year at all.  They were thrilled to learn about the MLB channel that is available for the Roku and for Apple TV.  For the minimal fee of $129.99 a season we get all the games except those in local markets.
The great news is that the Cubs are not local.  The kids are thrilled.  J is happy or at least he was until the Cubs lost.

Cute Twin Update at 22 Months

Two years ago I was praying that this pair would stay inside long enough to grow.  I remember being so worried that if they came too soon.  Then when they were born I was worried that the would never grow up.  They were so tiny at birth and now I can't even call them my babies.  (Well that isn't exactly true - as I will always refer to all of them as my babies.)  They have grown up so much.  They play so nicely together.   I can't get them to sit still long enough to get a good shot of both of them but I love trying.

Thank you God for my special gifts.  The twins bring the whole family so much joy.  They are happy and adventurous.  They are loving and so very smart.  22 months of pure love!

"Go See This Movie"

So the older kids got together with a group of friends and went to see movie, "God's Not Dead".  They felt it was a real winner.  They really enjoyed the film.  As they described the movie I was jealous that they had ventured off the view this one without me.  I hope that I will be able to sneak off and see this one myself.  Click here to find more information from the official web site.

The group tell me "go see this movie"!

Our dear friends from the blog The Way It's Supposed To Be had a big celebration this weekend that we got be a part of.  C made his First Holy Communion.  It was a beautiful ceremony and we so enjoyed the party.

My pictures are limited to some of the family shots that I took for Mrs. W.  It was a wonderful day.  Congrats Christopher.

Helping Each Other

Silly girls.  I love that they help each other.  They were dressed for bed and in a room full of siblings and yet tried to help each other with the snaps.  This was too cute!

That is siblings do, right.  They are always there to help you out.

Welcome Baby Luke

Another special friend is welcomed into the church.  This was a special day for the L family.  Sugar and Bear are Baby Luke's God parents.  They are so proud.

A new baby brings the world so many blessings.  Now as a member of God's family this child will make the world a better place.
